This has become a pattern, in which Trump deals with setbacks by lashing out at other institutions, including ones that can function as a check on his power. When the courts blocked his immigration ban, he blasted both the courts and the news media for making us less safe, in what seemed to be designed to lay the groundwork to blame them for a future terrorist attack, a move that even some Republicans criticized for its authoritarian tendencies. This appeared to be a test run of sorts, in which Trump was experimenting with how far he could go in delegitimizing the institutions that might act as a check on his power later.
[The Flynn crisis paralyzes the White House]
But as a test run, for now, at least, it is failing. Trump’s unchecked antics on multiple fronts are suddenly making him look like a very weak autocrat wannabe.

I think it's making him look like what he is--a businessman not accustomed to dealing with opposition from within. In his own business, he had essentially absolute power. He has a lot of power now, but it's far from absolute (thanks to the Founding Fathers!).
This current scandal will probably blow over (unless we get a major surprise), and things will continue on. Trump knows how to create chaos and distractions, and eventually we won't be talking about this so much. -
Hmm, the latest Fake News : Trump a Weak Autocrat!?
:Roflmao
Ya, right!
Wonder why no one is able to take him down?
You know he will NEVER tap out!
Keep on dreamin'

This is just a guess, but I imagine that 60% or more of the Republicans in Congress would rather have Pence as President than Trump. They won't impeach/convict without cause, but if Trump gives them cause, they might go along with impeachment proceedings.
Do I think impeachment is likely? Not really. But I do think it is possible. Even so, we would need a lot more than what we have right now to even consider that option. -
Also I believe their desperation is saying a lot more to traditional JFK Democrats about themselves ("progressives") than their fabrications about Trump.
Why? Because they have thrown off their masks identifying themselves on in a frontal attack all over the marxist national news against president Trump telling incredulous lies about the president.
They have cried wolf a multitude of times trying to get something to stick.
Nothing has - actually no one believes them anymore.
Their worst crime: committing the high crime of treason by leaking classified audio recordings of private phone calls between US government officials.

It's not that no one believes his detractors. His supporters don't believe them, but his opponents do.
Echo chambers exist on both ends of the political spectrum. -
Will be interesting to see what % of the popular vote Trump gets in 2020
-
As I have suspected all along - Trump is actually a Blue Dog Democrat (he always was) who needed to distance himself from the DNC - Soros and others have hijacked and betrayed the JFK Democratic Party.

It's completely right for Trump to criticize lawless court rulings and liberal media bias. That criticism is light being cast on roaches.
-
Checks and balances of Govt.
So keep in mind - if the SC were to overrule Roe-vs Wade - expect President Chelsea Clinton to criticize the SC. -

One level of hate speech is: Did the speech describe the victims-to-be as other than human, e.g. as vermin, pests, insects or animals? -

Crabtownboy, how is it the 9th Circus court didn't ignore the law in its ruling against Trump? And, why should they be above criticism? -

"Donald Trump is suddenly looking like a very weak autocrat"
Pres Trump is not an autocrat, and autocrats are by definition not "Weak". They hold absolute power.
This headline is weak. -

Chelsea Clinton will never be president! The nation has had it with the Clinton's corrupt ways and Americans will endure no more of them! The liberals hate anything that even closely resembles morality, they're evil to the core and will do anything within their power to continue to corrupt this nation! My prayer is that Christ returns soon!
