    NOBTS Search Team Chairman, Dr. Frank Cox, has announced that Dr. James Dew of North Carolina will be presented to the full Board of Trustees as the candidate to serve as the next President of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

    NOBTS found it important in the current atmosphere to emphasize they had considered minority candidates. I offer no criticism of this emphasis, but suspect it will not lessen the criticism of not hiring a minority candidate.
    Dew nominated to lead New Orleans Seminary
