Were you as outraged when you heard that story? Or is this only reprehensible when it involves a Democrat?

Seems to me that John Edwards is more apologetic that Gingrich was, and the last I heard, the Edwards were staying together.

Also, "hate" is your word, so be careful when you assign it to someone who hasn't used it even once in this discussion, especially in light of your zeal about staying on topic.......

Since you've asked, yes...I felt Newt should have stepped down when I found out about him. And should he run for prez, I will not support him.

And "hate" is appropriate...when one refers to our president as Hitler, and steers every thread toward maligning, insulting, and disrespecting him, that was indeed appropriate.

And I'll believe an Edwards apology when he addresses the hush money to the mistress, and how he is still sequestering her (waiting on wife to die, I presume?).

I don't hate Republicans with all of my heart. I love America and I hate what Republican leadership has turned it into, the bully of the world that spends as much money on defense as the rest of the world combined. A country where basic rights like Habeas Corpus have been taken away and the secret police can break into our homes without a search warrant or probable cause. A country which is in dire economic straits but Republicans are still arguing for increased spending on war. A country where over 50M people don't have health insurance. That's what I hate.

You exaggeration here discredits you. The figure is 46million not 50. And it does not give a true picture of what is going on. How many of those are of the 20million illegals in this country? How many of those are people who refuse to work but only scrounge off of others? How many are actually people who want insurance and cannot get it?
