Jesus tells us that those he draws He will raise up in the last day>>>>>Jhn 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
so it doesnt sound like some were drawn and then rejected Him.

Doesn't scripture also say that whosoever believes will be raised up in that day? Doesn't it leave room for "random access believers" to be included?
I find no exclusionary language that prohibits "non elect" persons from believing as "the elect". So how is it that a whole doctrine thrives on what is not there in scripture? -
All will be taught by God. Who listens to the Father and learns will come. Who believes has eternal life. Here there is no draging concept at all. The evident concept is draw or attract. Every teaching has a drawing or dragging through reason and persuation. Every philosophy is taught by dragging in a way. In that sense there is nothing new in this passages to suggest an efficacious grace to give life so that they can understand. Aren’t all knowledge imparted like this. In fact that is one of main principles of teaching. Make the subject interesting and they will learn by themselves. No one learns anything good or evil unless God drags him into it. This grace then is universal applying to everything from alphabet to spiritual matters. These passages do not refer to total inability or loss of choice.
It is through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God that people come to the knowledge of salvation.

When our Lord spoke on the doctrine of election he got the same reaction as today.
John 6:47 The Jews then murmured at him,
John 6:52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves,
John 6:60 This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
John 6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
John 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
Just something to think about.

John 6:22-66 is Jesus speaking at the synagogue in Capernaum, EVANGELIZING JEWS, not speaking on the "Doctrine of Election". You see, no such recognizable doctrine existed until these words of Jesus were recorded years after his ascention into heaven, and then several hundred years later a MAN invented the concept of "the doctrine of election".
The people that Jesus was addressing at Capernaum were THE ELECT. From the earliest records of the Jews, they were God's Chosen...ELECTED people. There is no reason to think otherwise.
[John 6:35] Jesus answered them: I am the bread of life. No one who comes to me(all inclusive) will ever hunger; no one(all inclusive) who believes in me will ever thirst.
[John 6:37] Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me; I will certainly not reject anyone who comes to me,(All inclusive)
[John 6:39] Now the will of him who sent me is that I should lose nothing of all that he has given to me, but that I should raise it up on the last day. (What did the Father Give Jesus?)
Said to Nicodemus,[John 3:16] For this is how God loved the world: he gave his only Son, so that everyone (ALL INCLUSIVE) who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
Said in the Synagogue at Capernaum, [John 6:40] It is my Father's will that whoever (ALL INCLUSIVE) sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and that I should raise that person up on the last day. -
