    What do you think the final electoral and popular vote will be in the Presidential election?
    Obama 290 51%
    McCain 248 48%

    Obama has a good shot at three southern states, NC, FL and VA.

    Obama 360 53%
    McCain 180 47%

    Obama will IMO carry FL, OH and MO.

    I have no idea on the electoral vote, because so many states could go either way, but this how I think the popular vote will end up:

    Obama = 52%
    McCain = 47%
    Others = 1%

    Hardly a mandate for a messiah.

    That will only happen if third party candidates siphon off enough Christian conservative votes to hand Obama the victory.

    There is no siphoning going on. Only true conservatives voting for true conservative candidates so that we may live with a clear conscience.

    I don't think there are enough Christian conservatives to make up a majority.

    Besides...McCain has too many folks that are voting for him unenthusiastically...and many others who simply won't vote.

    I think it will be a lot closer than ya'll project. That is why Obama is campaigning so hard in all the battleground states. I think there will be a Bradley factor so he has to overcome it in order to win.

    What else would he be doing for the next three weeks? Sitting at home watching TV. :)

    He could do like McCain and spend his time in the blue states. I wonder which solid red state or community they will send Palin to tomorrow? Hard to believe you're winning votes when everyone shows up in your color shirt... In fact, you can't even sell your shirts like that.

    Welcome to political rallies.

    That's the nature of the beast.

    I could be crazy but I would prefer to have 200 undecided voters at a rally then 20K votes I already have. I know the later makes good TV but the former is how you win elections.

    "Undecideds" don't exist at partisan political rallies.

    Since all the liberals are gloating today, I might as well gloat where I can. I believe that my popular vote prediction was spot on. As of this morning, the actual results are:

    Obama = 52.34%
    McCain = 46.37%
    Others = 1.29%

    When you consider the current political climate, the financial crisis, the Bush backlash, the media love affair with Obama, Obama's very well organized and polished campaign, all the money he had, the record turnout, and everything else going to his favor, the fact that he could only muster 52% of the popular vote should be seen as a complete failure on his part. I think Mike Dukakis could have gotten more votes under these same circumstances.
