Yes.
-
I use them frequently, and am quite satisifed with them.
-
what are the average prices of them?
I'm looking forward to getting one I just don't know how much to pay? -
There are some that you can download free, and some that are as little as $8.00. I've seen cd roms versions anywhere from $10 to $50. As with any purchase, you generally get what you pay for. The cheaper the price, the fewer options you get. The more expensive ones contain multiple versions, strongs links, note links, verse reference links, and sometimes even commentary references.

There are lots of free ones on the net. Are you looking for your computer, or a portable device?
Check out this thread: http://pub1.ezboard.com/fbibleversiondiscussionboardfrm18.showMessage?topicID=6.topic for some initial places to look, and be sure to add to the thread if you find any more!

I want a device. My step dad told me to get a pda and download it onto it and I get more for my money. I dont know what I want to do? Any advice?
-
If you get a Palm or a PocketPC, http://www.olivetree.com is the place to go. Great Bible software, for free. Certain versions cost money, but there's many free ones. Having a portable device is handy for when you're away from your computer, but I've found that when I use Bible software, I want to copy/paste scripture (for discussion forums, articles, etc.), which is all on the computer. When I do just general reading, I'd rather have a book in my hand than doing any lengthy reading off the little screen.

I just want 1 b/c I find it hard to remember a Bible but if i had an electronic device I would be able to remember it easyily. Thats just the way I am.

-
Palm is the way to go, I have three version in mine and use it all the time. I can't think of a version that you can't get so it is very flexiable and easy to use go to olvietree, they will be th most help. BTW, I have the NIV, NASB95 and the KJV

I have used a Franklin Electronic Bible for many years. Wore it out actually and am now in the process of ordering a new one. They can be ordered for $50 - $120 depending on the features wanted.

I would suggest searching the net for the best price. -
