But I am so entertained by what you consider proof that I support Obama. I just love to look at it and bask in its incredible awesomeness! Please post links!

You posted one link from 2012 where I questioned if Obama's support truly came from people that were receiving government freebies. This was a popular excuse for Romney's loss at that time.

You construe that as my supporting Obama, which is hilarious. So, please post it again so we can all enjoy it.

Well at least I got you to admit one. I'll not get my hopes up. I've been pointing out your slip ups for quite a while.

Deja vu. Been there. Done that.

Here's a post of mine I found in 30 seconds. I'm thinking [Edited: Calminian] was mont974x4 back in 2012.

So my many, many posts stating my support of Rick Santorum, then my many many posts supporting Mitt Romney plus the fact that I voted the straight Republican ticket on Tuesday is evidence that I support Obama.

You say my "constant defense" of Obama and his policies, well, I would like you to cite ONE POST where I have defended Obama. One.

That old thread from 2012 I quoted is pretty entertaining. You will see that Revmitchell says that a 332-206 electoral college win for Obama and the GOP losing seats in the Senate and House is NOT a mandate for Obama. Flash-forward to 2016 and you will see Trumpers saying a smaller 306-232 Trump electoral college victory and the GOP losing seats in the House and the Senate IS A MANDATE for Trump.

Why are you so worried about how people view your politics?

    I'm not.

I do take offense when people blatantly lie about it.

In 2012 I supported Rick Santorum then switched to Mitt Romney when he got the nomination. I supported Romney.
In 2016 I supported Marco Rubio, then switched to Ted Cruz when Rubio dropped out. I did not support Trump.

Santorum is more conservative than Romney. Rubio and Cruz are more conservative than Trump. Yet people call me a liberal, a Hillary supporter, an Obama supporter. Can you see where that might be offensive to me?

Why would you accuse me of lying. Do you not think I sincerely believe you are not a conservative. I'm not even accusing you of lying. I just think you don't realize how liberal your thinking is and how influenced you are by liberal ideas. In fact I believe this about many republican politicians.

And you know it's not just me. Someone else was saying this when I joined. Why do you think this is?

    Because people have preconceived ideas.
I was called a liberal because I thought the Bush tax cuts should have given the middle class the 4.6% reduction in tax rates and the rich should have gotten the 3% reduction in tax rates. Basically I thought the biggest cut should have gone to the middle class.

By thinking the middle class should have gone from 31% to 26.4% and 28% to 23.4% while the rich went from 39.6% to 36.6%, I was branded a liberal. No Republican was calling for these tax rates. No Democrat was calling for these tax rates. Yet--I WAS A LIBERAL!!! Because conventional Republican thinking was give the rich the biggest cuts

That's fine, but you're a liberal, not a conservative. This explains why you liked Obama so much.

And the truth is, the middle class did get a tax cut, and the rich got a break as well since the drastically overpay taxes.

But why not just admit you like the democrat approach over the republican approach? Why the games? Why pretend to be conservative when it's very obvious you pull for liberal candidates?

    I loathed Obama.

Rick Santorum, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz. Famous liberals I have supported and voted for.

Great point. And all of these guys disagree with your stance on tax cuts for the rich. All of them support these tax cuts. And they all support Trump's policies.

So how is this that you support guys who hold polar opposite views to your stated views?

A polar opposite view would be no tax cuts at all. The next opposite position would be no tax cuts for the rich. I'm for tax cuts. I'm for tax cuts for the rich. I'm merely adjusting the rates so the cuts have the most beneficial effect on the economy.

Cruz, Rubio, Santorum do not support Trump's infrastructure program. Cruz, Rubio, and Santorum do not support Trump's child care giveaway program. Cruz and Rubio support sanctions on Russia. Trump opposes them. So you fail. Again.

    BTW, are you mont974x4?

Am I who? If this is another username, no. I'm Calminian everywhere on the net.

And all of the above is not true. Trump may want to end sanctions eventually if we can improve relations, and Cruz and Rubio would agree with this. He's merely said "wouldn't it be great if we could get along with Russia." Again, you keep repeating the fakes news of the media. Another slip-up.

And Cruz and Rubio have no problem with investing in infrastructure so long as we can afford it. That's Trump's view, and it's a very conservative one. Trump is a businessman. He understands the problem with debt.

He should, given his companies' many bankruptcies.

But I don't think he does understand debt or much else about economics. He managed to make millions while he ran his company into the ground. He's the Steve Case of casinos.

Huh? He owns partially or entirely 515 companies. 6 have filed bankruptcy. All of those were due to the real estate crash back in the 1990s. That is around 1% of his companies. That is a pretty good record.
Would you say these companies don't understand much about economics?

    Kmart

Federated Dept. Stores (Macy's - Bloomingdales)

    Montgomery Ward

    Allied Stores Corp. (Brooks Brothers)

    Southland Corp. (7-11)

    The Circle K Corp.

Carter Hawley Hale Stores (Broadway - The Emporium)

They all ended in bankruptcy. :)

It is not his businesses. They are in the top 1%. It's him. People don't like him so they skew the data to make him look bad. But as a businessman he is one of the very best. :)
