Depression.
Somewhere along the line I heard a saying that good begets good and bad begets bad. So lets beget some good by talking about our favorite praise passages in the Bible.
I'll start by giving one of my favorites:
Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your moth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagles's.
Psalm 103:1-5
Anyone else have one?
Enough talk about....

Phi 4:7 (KJV1611):
And the peace of God which passeth all
vnderstanding, shall keepe your
hearts & minds through Christ Iesus. -
2Ti 1:7 (KJV1611 Edition):
For God hath not giuen vs the spirit
of feare, but of power, of loue, and of
a sound minde. -
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind."
This is what I remind myself of when I am weak---then He is strong!!! I must decrease! He must increase!!! More of Him and less of me until it is none of me and all of Him!!!!

Here is my favorite....
Lamentations 3:21-24
"This I recall to mind, therefore I have hope.
It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness.
The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore I will hope in Him."
Peace-

(2Co 4:6) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
(2Co 4:7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
(2Co 4:8) We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
(2Co 4:9) Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; -
Rom. 6:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
:8 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us -
John 6:35-40
And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day. -
Isaiah 40:31 NKJV
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings
like eagles,
They shall run and not be
weary.
They shall walk and not faint. -
Hab 3:17
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Hab 3:18
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Hab 3:19
The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
Thanks MenagerieKeeper! It was starting to get depressing around here..... -
Isaiah 41:10

John 8:58
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. -
Jude 24-25
Now vnto him that is able to keepe you from falling, and to present you faultlesse before the presence of his glory with exceeding ioy, to the onely wise God our Sauiour, be glory and maiestie, dominion and power, now and euer. Amen.
OR
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. -
James 1:2-6 (NKJV)
2. My brethern, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
3. knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
4. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to
him.
6. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
7. for let not that man suppose that he will recieve anything from the Lord;
8. he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Since I don't always have the best knowledge, this is a passage that I lean on heavily. -
Romans 12:1-3 (HCSB = Holman Christian Standard Bible)
Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. 3 For by the grace given to me, I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he should think. Instead, think sensibly, as God has distributed a measure of faith to each one. -
Romans 12:9-18 (HCSB):
Love must be without hypocrisy. Detest evil; cling to what is good. 10 Show family affection to one another with brotherly love. Outdo one another in showing honor. 11 Do not lack diligence; be fervent in spirit; serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer. 13 Share with the saints in their needs; pursue hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. 16 Be in agreement with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation. 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Try to do what is honorable in everyone's eyes. 18 If possible, on your part, live at peace with everyone.
Wow, i like that Romans 12:10B (HCSB):
Outdo one another in showing honor
