Bob, that is the wrong book and is not on topic. This is to discuss Eph 1.
Can you please discuss that.
If you want to discuss that verse, please start a thread with it.
Can you please give us your opinion on this chapter? Eph 1?
Thanks,
Dale

 Is this your thread Dale-----c:laugh:
The master of ad hominem said he was going to answer Eph 2:2 today. -
All you need to do is start an Eph 2 thread, in fact, I will do it myself.

Why would you say that Calvin is my god? I have never said that. I worship the God of the Bible. Please show me where I say I worship any man? In fact, if you would look, you may find I reply to these wrong statements many times telling the poster such as you that Calvin is not my god. I think this shows your true heart. This also shows ad-hominem 101.
2nd...be so kind as to post my use of ad-hominem (which is a attack of the person, not the doctrine) so that I can tell that person I am sorry. As of now, I have yet to hear anyone ask me to say me to say this to them.
I'm not saying I have not, but you claim I have by calling me master there must be many post out there. Just 20-30 will do.
Thanks.

You seem to think because Calvin sinned that I should not read Calvin. If this is so, why is any books by Solomon in the Bible? To follow your logic..are you saying that because Soloman turned from God, and setup to worship strange gods in his on nation, and for this sin we never see recorded in the Bible where he repented of these sins, that we too should not read Solomon as well?
Or...do you think maybe God can forgive Solomon and use his books in the Bible to bless many even though he sinned and never asked forgiveness and like wise do you also think God can and did forgive Calvin and use him as well in the books he wrote?
Maybe you do not know this, but a quick education would help on Calvinisim.
Calvin the man, is not Calvinisim.
(((RING))) class dismissed
Now that you know what Calvinisim is not, you will not act as you just did.
If you do not understand this, please ask before you attacking my God and say it is Calvin which is a lie. understand?
I have never said one word to you about your faith. I don't ever recall you posting what you believe.
Tell us Blammo what is your views? -
hmmm, I thought the word Calvinism came from the theology of John Calvin and his Institutes. I don't know where else it could of come from. It certainly did not come from the Bible.

Jarthur,
Are you of the Baptist faith? It is not my usual practice to look at profiles, but your responses seem so filled with anger, just thought I would check, and if you are not, there are threads for other denominations. -
-
-
then update your profile, Baptist is not non-denominational

Brother Bob, how are ya, long time no see.

well you tell me webdog. You told me...did you not...and that is why I said your name...that you posted here...even though your church name is not baptist....and that i could as well...if I got it approved. Now..you changed your name "Our church became part of the SBC in the spring of '05". I have not. Because you changed your name and I did not, does this mean I need to stop posting? I still hold to baptist doctrines just as before. If the rules have change I'll glady step out. I'm not changing churches..a church that is baptist ...but does not have it on the wall of the church...just as your once was....Just to post on here. that is silly -
It is the rules we all have to follow. There is a thread you can post on "other denominations", and will not be breaking the rules.
-
I'll not post till i hear back. -
Change that.
I will stop altogether.
