It looks cool in parts, but my guess is that it will be really cheesy.

What's not true???? That the character Captain American was from a different time that represented a different ethical standard (as evidenced by his demeanor with women, his language, and probably even the level of his patriotism). or that Hank Pyrn (aka, The Ant) created Ultron in the comic books (and last I read the movie franchise was going to "adjust" with Stark simply rediscovering Pyrn's work)?

    BTW....I'm not a geek....I have a 12 year old son. But you're wrong.

Could make a great thread: The Worst Superheroes of all time.

    Punisher.

    Hellboy.

I like a good super hero movie and in keeping with the thread I think some of them present a traditional good guy/bad guy scenario.

I thought Spiderman, the original, was a great movie. Batman was a pretty good movie, but had a darkness (go figure) to it, and the integrity of the hero could be called into question. Not sure I would view vigilantism as moral in the real world.

Even the new Superman movie was tainted by Hollywood's touch. Clark Kent was as honest as the day is long, and they kind of besmirched that image.

That's just what people have gotten to expect. The good guy is a bad guy too, and the crimes he commits are justified.

    God bless.

I don't think the Christian mentioned is in the movie. I think it's one if the viewers.

If you think back on the movie, at the beginning Stark was dusting off an old peacekeeping program (which would be Hank Pym...aka Ant Man's) program that ended with creating Ultron. There is an Ant Man movie coming out. In the comics, Ant Man created Ultron (who developed a father/son complex with Pym instead of with Stark).

I thought you didn't like fiction.

I don't know what would give you that idea. I previously stated that I had a dog and two cats.

I thought that you said that you did not read fiction. It doesn't make sense for someone with the literary skills that you obviously possess to like fiction but not like to read fiction. My mistake....but what's up with the kangaroo picture?

    Amazing. Wikipedia is simply amazing.

They tell us what DC is doing in the 30th Century.

    ;)

I was referring more to superheroes made into movies.

Wonder why no one has made Wonder Women yet. I think feminists everywhere should point out this blatant error. lol

Wasn't impressed too much with The League of Extraordinary Gentleman, either, but it was okay.

    Oh...Ultra-Violet.

    And "V for Vendetta."

    God bless.
