Sorry, Planned Parenthood. Eugenics and abortion can’t be separated.

No doubt. Planned Parenthood was established to suppress the population of undesirables, especially Americans of African descent.

They often operate the clinics in low income communities with large populations of minorities.

If I remember correctly, more than 20 million black babies have been killed in the womb.

Though I don’t believe it’s possible to laugh in hell, I suspect Sanger might manage a smile that Americans of African descent overwhelmingly support a party and a movement established to oppress and destroy them.

    peace to you

Well, I was confused over this issue, because one of my unbelieving friends said that a large proportion of fertilized embryos spontaneously abort anyway. Wasn't sure what to make of that.

That is true. The estimate vary from about 25% to 75% of fertilized eggs never implant in the uterus and are flushed out during the woman’s next cycle.

That, of course, had no bearing on deliberately terminating a baby in the womb.

Welcome to the BB. Please put on your full armor of God. You may need it here. The debates get tense at times.

I’m looking forward to seeing a young person’s views.

    peace to you

But that kind of suggests that nature is haphazard, capricious and without design or purpose. Or so my friend argues.

Only if you believe “nature” is in charge instead of God.

There is a thread ongoing about what happens to babies that die in infancy.

I believe life begins at conception. I also believe all babies that die in infancy go to heaven, even those conceived but never implanted.

Jesus said in Luke 18:16 to allow babies/children to come to Him for “such is the Kingdom of Heaven”.

I believe heaven is full of those babies and children that died in infancy. Far more than folks that made it to adulthood.

    peace to you

Friend says that nature is blind, heartless, without purpose or direction, and spontaneous abortion is just another example of that. Not saying this to be contentious, but sharing the sort of views to which I've been exposed.

I wonder, just how natural is the “nature” we see today, especially our own? What do you think?

And go ahead, be contentious, you'll fit right in here. Believe me. :Wink And stand your ground until you get good answers. :Thumbsup

Oh, and welcome to the Board.

And get a haircut. (Just kidding. I really couldn't care less about that.)
