Tom, are you going to open up a fantasy baseball league this year?

I have every intention of doing so.

Hey.. if you need any extra people, I'm all for joining a Fantasy Baseball league!
Don't really have many friends/coworkers who are into baseball enough to join a fantasy league any more. -
Tom, did you forget? :)

I have not. At some point I'll post what all has happened in the last two months. I plan on setting it up this weekend, but before I do, let me throw this out there:
head to head or stank rank league?
We've had both before, so I just want to get some input before we set it up. With only 6-8 teams, everyone goes to the playoffs. But in the other league, the season can get wrapped up pretty early. -
One thing I would like to see is some type of limit on total roster moves for the season. I just don't have time to continually drop and add players in order to stay competitive, it is just too much of a hassle. In small leagues as these it seems to always end up happening.

H2H please. I despise roto leagues.

This might be fun for some and that's fine, but IMO opinion it is not. I like the challenge of building a good team that wins because of the players talents I selected. I think it is less of a challenge and less fun to see who is willing to put the time in to rotate their rosters more often throughout the season. It become less about baseball knowledge and player performance and more like a repetitious video game.
But to each his own, I just don't have the time nor do I enjoy leagues set up with that strategy.
PS Congrats on your win this week in our NASCAR league. You just squeaked by. -
BTW, if the thought is that I've only won this league the last 2 years because I stream players, then let me throw out some more information. I was in a H2H league last year where roster moves were limited to 8 per week and I won the league. -
I apologize if you took it personal, it wasn't mean to be and I am sorry if it sounded so. If someone would have offered me a thousand dollars to name who had won I couldn't have until you just said so. Most of the time I have trouble just figuring out who the teams owners really are let alone remember past winners.
Anyway I didn't mean to start any trouble, sorry I brought it up. -
No worries.
There are plenty of fantasy baseball players that don't like streaming. You're one of them. I will do whatever it takes to win within the rules, so streaming doesn't bother me. That's the difference between the 2 of us.
It's why I'm suggesting that if the league has roster move limits, the limits be on a weekly basis, not a set amount for the entire season.
