Pray for First Baptist Church Shreveport, LA. On their way to a Georgia youth event, their bus blew a tire and flipped--One dead, 27 hurt; some seriously. That's almost too much to imagine. Like I said...please pray.

The totals might have been worse, except that the bus at that point was being followed by a military bus...who stopped and rendered emergency aid to the victims.

What a heartbreaking story. I am thankful that they won't have to deal with this heartache alone.

We had a very serious van accident a number of years ago and it was so terrifying. We were fortunate that no one was killed but a few were life-flighted and seriously injured.

I will be praying for everyone involved. What a tragedy.

We're not spared from tragedies here on this earth. But we are, as Christians, uplifted by a God who is there with us in the tragedy.

    My prayers for all involved.

And yes, it does seem that something like this happens every summer.

As sad as this is...... It is also a wonderful example of the providence of God to provide for our needs even before we ask! May be the tire blew..... and it wasn't God's desire to stop that... .......there no such thing as 'coincidences' with God...

Praying for a swift recovery for those injured and truamatised..... and comfort for the bereaved.
