I just recieved this email from a personal friend of mine. He is very active in his local Baptist church here in NY:
Greetings in the wonderful Name of our Savior,
First to let you know that we are all alright, a little shook
(well maybe more than a little)but the Lord is still in control.
Last Sunday afternoon while we were at church we lost our
trailer to fire, or the majority of it anyway. it was caused
by the cord on the fan we had in the kitchen window. the kitchen
was compleatly destroyed along with 2/3 of the living room.
we are still trying to recover what we can of my computer and
papers which were in the living room. Kristina lost about half
of her clothes to soot and water damage while mine was just smoked
at the other end of the trailer.
We don't know yet just what we will do now. We may be able to replace,
we be able to rebuild. See how God works the main structure of the
trailer for the most part was spared due to the
fast work of the fire Dept. but the inside was destroyed if not
by the fire itself, by the water and smoke. There was some
insurance on the trailer itself but not a lot. But I know that God
will supply all our needs due to the riches we have in Christ Jesus.
I am staying with my father and for the time being Kristina is
staying with her friend Amber we will work out other arrangements
soon.
Here is the real wonder: My study Bible was laying open on the couch
and it was not burned, was not but just damp, and does not even smell
of smoke. (Remind you of three young men thrown in a fiery furnace)
This is just to show who is really in control, and I will give you a
clue, it's not us!
Sometimes it is hard to be thankful in ALL things but I am confident
that God has a plan, and what ever it is it will be wonderfull and
honoring to Him.
Please pray for our guidance and strength through the coming days.
"I am weak but He is strong" We may read Psalm 23:1 as saying
"The Lord is my Sheppard, He has everything I need.
I look forward to seeing those of you who will be at "The Glen" in
August and talking with all others soon.
Be strong and remember "Jesus is Lord"
God Bless,
Randy <><

So sorry to hear of your lost, but we appreciate...
your attitude of thanksgiving. May the Lord give you more than you had before that He might be praised. -
