You probably know about the Firefox Web browser. Features like tabbed browsing make Web surfing easier. You can have several pages open at once without the clutter of multiple windows.
Firefox has become the browser of choice for many people.
But let's face it, Internet Explorer is still more popular. So if you use someone else's computer, Firefox might not be available.
Fortunately, there is a solution: You can download a portable version. Put it on a thumb drive, zip disk or even an MP3 player. It will run directly from the media without a lengthy installation.
Poke around today's Cool Site and you'll stumble across a portable e-mail program, a portable office suite and calendar. And they're all free.
