Jedi, you are missing the whole point. Praising God, in the context of breaking a reasonable rule, does not make this guy immune to a penalty. There's no persecution here. And, the last time I checked the cheerleaders don't go running into the end zone nor onto the field everytime some yoyo makes a great play.

Seems that Jesus said something about quiet, private prayer versus loud demonstrations of prayer in public.

YOU DON'T GET IT......I was just not liking their rules on this.

One can celebrate, but in so doing one should be prepared to pay the penalty for doing so.

In a broader context, I think some Christians have forgotten that we are told to love and serve God; however, God has not promised that in so doing we would not be persecuted. I think some Christians think that they should not have to suffer persecution for serving God.
