If any group is slave to a political party (95% suppport as a group), then that group should not be shocked if neither political party gives them more than lip service. Evangelicals have never been even close to this level of block voting.

All the Democratic party has ever done for African Americans is to destroy the black family. The GOP did not pass laws that encouraged absentee fathers for welfare recipients, the Democratic party supported abortion rights, which have led to a larger holocaust in the black community than in other communities.
