For missionaries only- a financial question

    Is there a difference in raising more support for food or fees?:thumbs:

    Any attempt to raise more support is seen in some circles as moochinary tactics.

    Sad, but true.

    And then, it is almost impossible to raise more support unless you go on furlough--which doesn't solve Mexdeaf's immediate problem. And by the time furlough rolls around, we need to raise more support just to keep up with inflation (never mind the extra fees), since how many churches do you know that raise their missionaries' support for inflation and cost of living increases? I've got churches that have supported us at the same rate for 27 years. :tonofbricks:

    Very true. Somtimes when we mention these things people take it as complaining. ¡Que lastima! Honestly I am afraid at times to communicate finacial needs because of the possible negative reprecussions. Thankfully breathren we have a gracious and loving Father who supplies all of our needs despite the difficulties we face.
