I just received the following e-mail:
"Become a legally ordained minister within 48 hours
As a minister, you will be authorized to perform the rites and ceremonies of the church!
Perform Weddings, Funerals, Perform Baptisms, Forgiveness of Sins
Visit Correctional Facilities
Want to start your own church?"
I know this is a debate thread, but I don't expect too much debate. The really good one is: "Forgiveness of Sins" --- What people won't do for money today.
Forgive sins in 48 hours.

Somebody said that money flows like water in two kinds of businesses only: revolution, and religion.

They'll ordain you for free. Apparently I had to go through the whole ordination council for no reason!
(tongue-in-cheek) -
When I was ordained the pastor opened up the questioning to the entire congregation. One lady did try to give out her pet doctrine and the pastor stated what the church believed before I chance to answer the question. But it was good though. -
from the ulc website...
There we go, a "monk" program. Now I can fulfill my lifelong dream of become a monk  Seriously though, I already partake of a "monk" program; USA Network's 'Monk,' returning Fridays this June
God Bless!!!

Boy oh boy, this just keeps getting better and better the more I view their site.
Although I am not a minister (and no, I don't play on on TV either :D ), this is nothing short of a mockery of true ordination.
Okay, I'm done now
God Bless!!

You sure can't beat the price from the Universal Life Church:
BUY A DEGREE
And you get to park in the chaplain's space at the hospital!
PARKING DECAL -

I know those chaplain's spots can really irritate some people. I had a deacon at my last church ask me, "How come you get to park up front and all the sick people have to hike in from the parking deck 2 counties away?" Parking is a real problem at that hospital. You do have to wonder though. The sick people have to park a mile away and all the healthy doctors and chaplains get to park up front.

I like parking far away, because I often see people from the congregation walking there or back on the way. Plus, it's good exercise.
As for the ulc, apparently the D.D. program is recognized as real by the International Accrediting Association. Wow.
