I think the state should accept the offer. I agreed that the state should stop the practice because the tax payer should not have to foot the bill, but this is for free so take it. I do think this guy would regret it once he sees how much it will cost him in security costs, but I say go for it if he is willing to pay ALL the costs involved.

Just a thought here: To those who are concerned about the cost of a last meal for the inmate? Why not just make him miss the last 3 meals - he wont need them anyways - then you will save even more money.
