NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair and a woman were found shot to death Saturday inside a residence in Nashville, police said.
Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron confirmed that authorities were called to a condominium and found McNair and a woman shot to death inside. Aaron said police don't yet know the circumstances of the shootings.

"I don't have any answers for you now as to what's happened, who's responsible," Aaron said.

Sad.

That's only a few blocks from where I did some ministry work last summer.

He was certainly well-loved in Nashville.

The forensics, crime scene investigation, autopsy reports, etc., have been completed. The Police Chief gave a news conference today. The 20-year-old Iranian chick shot him 4 times (twice in the head and twice in the chest) while he was asleep on the couch and then turned the gun on herself and shot herself in the head. She thought he had another girlfriend and was going to leave her. No drugs were found anywhere. She bought the gun Thursday night in a parking lot.

I pity his poor wife and kids. What a pitiful legacy he left for his kids - Football Hero, Community Hero, Business Owner, Lying Adulterous Cheat--Daddy's girlfriend killed him while he was still married to Mommy. Sad.
