Greg Gutfeld announced ... that he has aims to open a Ground Zero–area gay bar catering to Muslim men in the space next to a proposed mosque. “As you know, the Muslim faith doesn't look kindly upon homosexuality, which is why I’m building this bar. It is an effort to break down barriers and reduce deadly homophobia in the Islamic world,” the Red Eye host wrote, identifying the bar’s raison d'être. “After all, the belief driving them to open up their center near Ground Zero, is no different than mine.”

Maybe the Islamics from the proposed Mosque will blow up the proposed gay bar!

This is humorous Christian response to a serious problem?

Where do you get that building this bar is a "Christian" response?

    Is Greg Gutfeld a Christian?

While it may be laughable and humorous, that is an unintended (OK maybe "intended") consequence of a viable solution.

i.e. To make the surrounding area of the mosque just as or more uncomfortable and insensitive to Moslems as this mosque is to Christians and particularly the families of those killed in the mass murder on 9/11.

This was exactly the response (supposedly) of Moslem pundits.
That we are insensitive to Moslem values.

    OK, what about ours?
Why can't we have a pork sausage factory right next door to the mosque?
    After all we are "infidels".

    Give us a break.

OK, uh, sausage maker, hog butchery... Like in the North End of Boston, hog bodies and heads on display in the windows.

Naaa, Guttfeld's right, A Muslim Gay Bar is far more insulting to they're sensibilities. Now if you then added still another Catholic Church that holds daily services & feeds the poor with a soup kitchen(that serves pork) & perhaps a Jewish Temple on the other side..... Threw in some Hari Krishna selling flowers on the corner, you just might get a reaction but they would only move to Queens then.

    Just might get a reaction?

    Are you kidding?

If any of the above actually moves forward next door to their proposed Mosque - the reaction would be nothing less than incredibly violent.

And by violent I mean in the building, in New York, and around the world.

There would be violent protest marches across the Muslim world.

The UN and all sorts of repressive governments run by Muslims around the world along with the French would be criticizing the U.S. for being so insensitive and anti-Muslim.

There can be no denying that this would be the most likely outcome.

There is no plan for a mosque at Ground Zero. There is a plan for an Islamic Community Center, but it will be blocks away. More Faux News hype, as usual.

A distinction without a difference in this case.

It is equally offensive to many who are sensitive about the terrorism of 9-11
