I was listening to a talk show, possibly Glenn Beck or Rush; and it was stated that an employee went to the doctors the day before.
While there, the employee stated that a lady came in and wanted free health care.
The nurse told her there was no free health care there.
The lady reminded here the law had just been passed for free health care...
1.
does anybody remember which show that was
2.
comments about the lady?
3.
How many others went to the doctors this week thinking they had free health care.
I heard that on Rush's show.
You could probaly find it in his archives.
Typical entitlement mentality.
"free" means "someone else pays".
I remember reading (or hearing?) about a lady in the south (forget where) that had medicaid.
She had brought herself and her children to the hospital emergency room nearly everyday for months, perhaps a year or more.
No way to tell.
You may get some indication from emergency room visits.
Expect the healthcare system to be overwhelmed, in the near term, as millions of people seek out that new, "free" health care.
do you think Rush was lying about the incident?
Do you think that some people actually went into medical facilities this week seeking "free" medical care?
I think that he was reporting a story or stories that he or his staff found reported elsewhere.
If he does not know or have reason to believe that the stories are untrue - then no - he is not lying.
Yes, I believe that it probably happened more than once.
I believe that there are people who think that they have free health care now.
Remember the girl that was all excited about the prospect of Obama being elected because she was never going to have to worry about paying her mortgage or buying gas for her car again?
It's just another trick to keep the poor, the lazy, the uneducated, and people who are down are their luck reliant on the government and in the pocket of the democrats.
My understanding is that those on medicaid recieve free medicine - in addition to the medical care - as well as a free ride in a TAXI - to and from their medical apt - and if needed a 15 min stopover at a drug store.
But at the VA, I have to pay a $8 copay for my medicine.
Several seniors at my church are under the impression that this wil give them free health care because that's what the media has painted it as. Some have asked around and discovered what it really is, and that the main part won't kick in for a few years, and they are now worried. Some are even concerned that they will be denied benefits/health care as they can't afford to pay any more than what they already do.
One of my fellow deacons told me that he wasn't worried about it as he figures he will be gone from this earth before it takes full effect. He was worried about his wife, though, as the loss of his income will really hurt what she can afford. I wish I could console him, but he sees the writing on the wall and knows just how bad it will be (he's a former plant manager).
I would include Ed Schultz in the mix.
I don't trust any radio talk show host.
It looks to me like they are in it for the ratings and for the fame.
I might exclude Mike Malloy, but he is so vulgar I don't listen to him.
Now I realize I have not listened to them all, I'm talking about the ones I have heard on more than one or two occasions.
Are you dense?
I said I haven't listened to ALL the radio personalities.
I have listened to many, especially Rush often.
I have also listened to Beck, Hannity, Levin, Malloy, and Rhodes.
So you, as usual, don't have a clue!
You read posts to see what negative thing you can drum up and in your excitement to criticize someone, you don't take time to actually read what is being said.
