Galatians 5:22-23

The Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (the latter an imperative).

In other words, "Fruit" is what happens when the Spiritual Nature controls the "self," the sinful, soulish nature. God grant that posters rejoice in the former while comprehending the perils of the latter.

When one is saved AND under the control of the Holy Spirit, walking by Him and rely upon Christ in us, those would be the natural by products!
