There are at least two side to every issue of the day. Here are questions we in the West do not like to hear or think about. This is not a justification of terrorism, but it shows it is not one sided. Sure each side can excuse their own acts, but that does not make terrorism right or correct and it certainly is not following the teachings of Christ.

There is no double standard (an absurd accusation). Thanks though for advancing terrorist propaganda. We see where your loyalties lie

My loyalty is with Christ and he does not encourage war or terrorism. The point of the OP is that there are arguments on both sides. And yes both sides have a double standard and each side justifies their terror on the other.
If you were being bombed you would be terrorized regardless of who was doing the bombing. -

Who started the first world war ? Muslims ?
Who started the second world war ? Muslims ?
-
Oh the idiocy of the left. If a muslim robs a bank, it's a crime. If a non-muslim blows up a bank, it's terrorism. It was terrorism when Northern Ireland was exploding on both sides. It was terrorism when the left and the right were blowing up churches.
Of course, there are 2 sides. No one disputes that. But to equate 9-11 with a war between nations such as WW 2, like you and the so-called Muslim scholar do, is certainly not honest nor is it like Christ
It's terrorism whether the criminal is a muslim or not. It's just that right now the Muslims whether by the name of Boko Haram, Isis or Iran who are fulfilling the purpose of terrorism, which is to terrorize. -

I love how Mitch actively goes out of his way to ignore every example except ones he could pin on Arabic or African cultures. Not specifically Muslim but again he makes the mistake of equating Arabic with Islam and for some reason is now trying to lump Africans in as well. That is pretty eye opening. He even went so far as to identify Africans as the reason for slavery while neglecting to mention the purchasing agents. He then tries to blow off and minimalize what was done to the Native American population.

To show you know your history.
To show that your mind is not closed or empty.
To discuss rationally without simply criticizing.
To avoid derailing the thread.
To show you have the ability to honestly look at both sides of an issue.
So, which of those events did the Muslims start?

Rev. Mitchell, do Muslims refuse to bake cakes for gay weddings in Medina?
-
Crabby you are without any shame. Two wrongs don't make a right. Digging up old bones in no way excuses what Muslim terrorists are doing Today!!. Nor does it offer justification for it. The mind set of bed wetters never ceases to disgust me.

No one is clean and pure in this world. All have come short.
We in the West simply do not want to face up to our misdeeds in the past.
The mindset of closed minds and apologists never ceases to disgust me! -
You are without shame. How many times do we have to apologize for slavery? I guess it is the unpardonable sin and will never be forgiven. And, the last time I checked slavery in the US was abolished long ago. Jim Crowe laws were done away over forty years ago and yet bed wetters just can't let it go. How many times must Australia apologize? Guess they can never be forgiven either. How about South Africa? It is no longer under white control. How long until that is forgiven? The Germans and Japanese started WWII and the Allies did what was necessary to finish it and prevent over a million projected casualties while invading the Japanese homeland. The Allies should never apologize for that and shame on you for even suggesting it was wrong.
Today, right now, Muslim terrorists are waging war. Past wars, slavery, and other past atrocities are not the issue. -

Simply because something was, in your words, a long time ago, it is all right to forget it? The Civil War was over 150 years ago. Have Southerners forgotten it? No they have not. Why expect others to forget and forgive when we will neither remember nor forgive?
As I said, no one is clean as driven snow in this chain of events. -

The problems in today's world were all caused by the crusades.

When did Christians and Muslims live side by side in peace for 2000 years ?
-
Go ahead Mr. Muslim an Mrs. Muslim Terrorist and blow us up with impunity. Our forefathers have done wrong and we are never allowed to be forgiven even though we, ourselves, did not commit their crimes. We, their children, grandchildren, and ancestors must always be held accountable for their sins and we too must pay. So, we will sit idly by and dismiss your current behavior because our forefathers, not us, have sinned. Such is the logic of a bed wetter and it is shameful.

There's bad information on both sides of this, but you can't take the O/P seriously, if it's going to call Hiroshima and Nagasaki "terrorism". The Japanese got off relatively easy for the carnage they created prior to, and during WWII.
Short on facts, long on emotion. -
Why even try to help him change his wet, yellow, sheets? He will just wet them again worrying about how he should pay for what other people did while ignoring the reality of what is going on around him right now.
