Germany hopes to make forced marriage a crime.

About 4.3 million Muslims live in Germany, and forced marriage is still fairly common, especially among Turks and Arabs.

Ummm...just because something happened in the Bible doesn't mean it's normative. Polygamy is in there, too. Sometimes God, in sovereignty, allows injustices to happen for a time for the greater good of humanity. That shouldn't mean we don't strive for justice.

And if my parents had picked the person they thought was right for me, I'd be married to the wrong person.
