Obviously you did not watch the film clips from the BBC program. You answered before I finished all five parts. Global dimming is not global warming ... they are different, but may play off each other. Watch the program, 5 parts, and then reply.

You are showing a great lack of not getting it. I don't care if their made up garbage that has no credibility are the same or worlds apart. What you are ignoring is that global warming has little credibility and coming up with something new is nothing more than a repackaging of their agenda.

Only to those who will not see, do not care and do not care what kind of world they leave to their children and grandchildren. Of course to those who do not want to believe there is nothing that will change their opinion. The birthers have shown this in politics. You have given your opinion, but nothing to back it up ... if you have a credible source, please post it. Notice that I said credible. Thanks in advance.

When you post a credible source then I will be concerned with your thoughts on a credible source. Of course the scientists behind global warming aka climate change lost all credibility when their emails were exposed and we saw how they worked to manipulate their so called "science". Quite honestly I am surprised anyone has the nerve to continue to push this junk science.

As I said several times, global warming and global dimming are not the same thing. However, I doubt you would believe regardless of what source was given.

There is ALWAYS a new crisis fostered by the liberals of the world, and that largely used to divert HUGE sums of money and control they same people they say they are concerned to protect.

First the atomic bomb crisis that was going to wipe out the world, then the population explosion that was going to wipe out the world, then the water crisis, the upcoming ice age, global warming, and now that all of the above have been debunked there just HAS to be a new crisis for those who's intent is to bring utopia to earth on the backs of slaves.

How about a biblical crisis, where people who trust human efforts turn instead to the God of salvation?

You need to go back and reread my original response. My response was about the loss of credibility among people. I posted two credible sources to support my response. So your claim that I failed to "give anything other than my opinion" is a false accusation and unchristian. It is a shame that these threads must deteriorate into this type of nonsense. Maybe it is just a result of not being able to deal with what is common knowledge ie the scientists have been shown to manipulate the science by deleting, or hiding info that was contrary to the outcome they wanted.

I haven't closely followed the issue, though something about the claim does sound faintly familiar. When did this happen?

The real issue here is that much of the scientific and political (liberal) establishments put all their eggs in the global warming basket. Now that global warming (re-named global climate change) has been shown to be a bust, there needs to be some new crisis to continue the money momentum that was gained through United Nations initiatives. Literally, the transfer of billions to trillions of dollars, and all the centralized power that comes from having access to that level of money, is at stake and the powers that are manipulating data and consensus to that effect will not roll over and play dead just because our world is now inconveniently cooling instead of heating.

I recommend that anyone interested in the "dimming" issue check out the minimum sunspot activity for close to a decade. In 1645-1715 there was a decided lack of sunspot activity, the Maunder Minimum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maunder_Minimum) and that era came to be known as the "Little Ice Age." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Ice_Age)

Global temperatures were radically impacted and areas froze, crops failed, etc., mostly due to conditions far beyond the reach of human beings to effect. We have seen somewhat a replay, though on a lesser scale, in the time since 1995, when temps started dropping once again.

So, at the end of the day, which is it? Is all the carbon and greenhouse gas in the atmosphere warming up the planet or causing it to cool? Seems that no one can really make up their mind... :wavey: Perhaps God (GASP!) is in control and the planet has some created and built-in temperature regulation mechanisms that keep it very nicely in the precise narrow livable range.

It is very relevant since it is related and my point was neither is credible because of all the junk science involved. However, you responded without any concern about your false claim of being off topic until now when you failed in self control and have acted as you have.
