Folks have been saying "two years" for a while now. He won't be relieved of "his duties" for almost 26 more months. That is, unless he declares martial law and assumes a dictatorship.

Highly likely .... but the same fear was being discussed when Clinton was POTUS. Besides, Obama said yesterday that people were wanting that "new:car smell" when it came to the presidency. Sounds like he can hardly wait to get out :wavey:

How is that throwing gas on the fire? They are justified in being upset. Wonder how many white Americans weren't justified in being upset when OJ got off?

Because of the sin in men's hearts.

    That's laughable.

As I've said many times, God will continue to give all of you more of what you don't want and then some because the lot of you continue to dishonor and disrespect the authority God has placed over you.

That's the pot calling the kettle black again. Even more laughable than what you deemed laughable :smilewinkgrin::laugh:

Let's not make that comparison. White people don't have generations of mistrust with regards to the police in this country. When O.J. was acquitted white America didn't exactly feel threatened. While the anger in Ferguson may be misguided it is no way comparable to the O.J. Simpson trial.

You are the one who made the false equivalency in behavior.

You'll have to explain what you mean there. O.J. was brought up and you made the comparison in behavior with regards to rioting in Ferguson and the lack thereof with regards to the O.J. verdict.

You struggle with nuance and tend to see things as black and white. Those behavioral responses to a high profile acquittal are completely unrelated and I think you know that.

Zaac made the original comparison in behavior.

No, I do not struggle I intentionally refuse to deal with very many nuances. Things are black and white. Nuances are more than not an excuse for what is wrong with this country.

Perhaps the president can issue an executive order decreeing an end to all looting and rioting. :BangHead:

As did you when you made the statement about "how many white's burned down the town." That was your comparison not his. Your acknowledgment amount not seeing nuance is pretty much an admission of willful ignorance and it is why you often lack the ability to see underlying causes for what they are.

It was in response to his comparison of which you are ignoring. If one is wrong they are both wrong.

I reject your premise. That being that nuances are always necessary. They are not. It is not ignorance it is rejected that these so called nuances actually mean something or need to make a difference in decision making. Often they are just excuses to do the wrong thing.

I'm not going to sit here and play Clinton like word games with you. You made that statement as an obvious contrast to what is happening in Ferguson and I'm saying that the reactions are not comparable.

You can reject my premise all you want but ignoring the full scope of a situation is an intentional refusal to utilize all information possible to come to a definitive conclusion.

Zaac brought up the comparison. It should never had been brought up period as it is not a legitimate comparison. You ignored that. Have to wonder why.

Anyway if you have anything else to say on this it is all yours. I will leave you to it.

So it should never had been brought up period at it is not a legitimate comparison that I apparently have ignored by saying it is not a legitimate comparison multiple times. Is that about where are right now? It's also strange that you contributed to such an illegitimate comparison isn't it?

That was some impressive smoke and mirrors there Rev.

The so called smoke and mirrors is the fact that you have ignored that I did not bring it up Zaac did.

Um no, he asked if people were not justified in being upset when O.J. got off and then you decided to ramp it up to "how man whites burned down the town" which was in fact a direct comparison to Ferguson that you seem to be trying so hard to distance yourself from all of a sudden.
