A federal appeals court on Thursday upheld Texas' tough abortion restrictions that have led to the closure of nearly 20 clinics around the state, saying the new rules don't jeopardize women's health.

Now if the Roberts court hears this case -- SCOTUS has the option to let the appeals court ruling stand without review -- we can only hope and pray that the justices have as much sense as this three-judge panel has.

Out our way, several clinics have already closed. I would love to be a fly on the wall during the discussions of the justices about whether or not the USSC should take up this case.

Oh no this can't be true. Republicans never do anything about abortion. They just want it as an issue.:BangHead:
