Hawaii governor can't find Obama birth certificate

I know the law. Your earlier post claimed that the constitution required that both parents be citizens. The constitution does not define 'natural born.'

 

Constitutional requirements to be eligible to be the president of the US:

There is nothing in the Constitution stating that the parents of a person must be natural born citizens. But Obama's mother was a natural born citizen and this alone makes him eligible.

It is a frivolous argument by the birthers, as shown by the fine that was imposed on them by a lower court.

Obama would be silly to give them a second of his time. Why? Because it would not change their opinion nor their hatred of them. There are times to talk and times to be silent. Trying to convince them would be like spitting into the wind ... and we know what happens when a person spits into the wind.

Give it up. It is a silly demand. The courts have spoken. Conservatives like to brag about their loyalty and patriotism. Part of loyalty is accepting the Supreme Court's decisions as law. Well, the SC has spoken by not speaking and allowing the lower courts ruling to stand.

And the State of Hawaii has declared that the president was born there. Don't we conservatives put a lot of stock in state's rights?

And Congress has declared him legally elected.


I too thought that we conservatives had a high view of the constitutional process. It has run its course.

We need to accept. If state's want to put some kind of 'citizenship proof test' on the requirement to run for president in that state, have at it and lets see what happens.

 

He won't release his Harvard, records, either. This president enjoys angst among the populace.

"Birther" argument aside, does anyone remember the name of our vice president (who would assume pres. Obama's role as POTUS if he were disqualified)?

Barack Obama received his Juris Doctor degree (magnacumlaude) from Harvard in 1991. Like an M.D., a J.D. program does not require a research dissertation or thesis, therefore there is no thesis to be found.

Michelle also graduated from law school, again no thesis or dissertation was required.

 

I don't know.

Obama is our President (period). The powers that be will not make a change even if proven that he is unqualified. If proven, president has been set and the interpretation of natural born citizen will be made through his mother. Now with that being the case, what about the question of dual citizenship through his father in Kenya and later his adoption by Mr Soreto in Indonesia?

 

If he isn't qualified, he is a fraud and a usurper (period). NOT our President. That means each and every official action from executive decision to signing a bill was illegal and an act of war.

 

Oh, I get those too. I thought it was one of those make-a-point-by-asking-a-question things.
