Hmm, I wonder if the SBC were to dis-fellowship a church for allowing their pastor who is committing adultery. Wondering what the Libs would say about that?

That's a balanced and unbiased headline.

That's a biased headline. It would be similar to a headline that read, "Southern Baptists reject the example of Jesus and Paul and change their constitution so they can exclude churches who affirm women are called by God to pastor."

But why would we want newspapers to run biased headlines?

Nit pick: The headline is actually, "Southern Baptists Refuse To Take Back Megachurch Because It Has Women Pastors"

I would expect a reporter to a full report

Did the reporter contact an official of the SBC?

Granted, the local newspaper just ran a report they recd over the wire -
But - the BCNY is located right here in Syracuse -as is the Newspaper.

It would have been very easy for a reporter to contact our BCNY President to get the full story.

I have a good friend who is a grad of Dr. Jeremiah's school. He is pastor of an ABC church - but does not believe in females preachers., though the church has had several female pastors over the years. I should note - the main reason Terry was elected pastor is because his mom is a 50+ year member of the church

There are several ABC churches in the area but they are slowly sinking into non existence… women in the pulpit just makes them the same as all the other dead & dying churches… now there is a woke Methodist church up the rode that will accommodate anything … like teaching ppl to speak Spanish in order to communicate with the illegals. They call the program Spanish for the community!
