I would like to introduce myself to the community. I am 42 years old and the Teaching Pastor at my local church. I have a wife whom I have been married to for 15 years and seven year old son. My belief system is as follows:

- I am premillenial/dispensational
- I am a congregationalist
- I am Arminian (but advocate eternal security)
- I am full-gospel

How can anyone claim arminianism and eternal security at the same time. That is certainly Howdie Doody time.

While many Arminians believe that someone can lose his salvation, not all of us do.Even Arminius himself never took a firm position either way in his lifetime. All Arminians affirm the necessity of persevering faith in Christ to be saved; some of us simply believe that those who are saved will persevere. -
