I would love advice/ help/ tuorials for affordable, accessible web page design.
(I should add - for someone who is really IT challenged & cannot speak computer tech jargon.)
My son (a painter & a carpenter, just graduated from 2 years Christian ministry studies) wants to make a web page. His goal is to be a missionary overseas.
The challenge is - How to build an affordable, accessible, no stress web page. (Andrew is less computer savvy than I am & is currently super busy building to fund his missionary dreams.) Are there like minded souls who can help out here, with basic EASY How To's for Christian web page designs.
(I bought a copy of the book 'Building a Web paqge For Dummies' and I spent a week searching the net for tutorials and now I am more confused & frustrated.
All your advice on how to achieve a simple 2 page, effective, affordable, accessible web site would be appreciated and valued.

Just saw this on MajorGeeks this evening:
KompoZer 0.8a2
It is a "WYSIWYG" (what you see is what you get) web page editor. I haven't used it, but it looks rather simple and easy to use. It is also free. ;) I have used other WYSIWYG editors in the past, and they make constructing a web page much, much easier.
