Help with File conversion

How do I convert Wordperfect 4.2 files to Word Files?

There's not a filter in the Word document for WP4.2.

 

What version of MS Word are you using? There is a conversion pack you can download from the Microsoft website that should have a filter.

Another option is saving it in rich text format (.rtf) if WordPerfect has that option and them open the file in Word, but you may lose some of the formatting if you do that.

I have MS Word 2000. I downloaded the conversion pack - installed it and still get no help.

The files I want to convert are Sermon files - 15 years worth so it's not a simple task.

Also, check your original Word disk to be sure you have the filter installed. Not all are installed by default, particularly for older formats.
