Worthy of Worship
ok ok, it does not have grace in it, but it is still a great song. -
Were it not for Grace
This is the chorus:
"Were it not for grace, I could tell you where I'd be -
wandering down some pointless road to nowhere with my salvation up to me.
I know how that would go, the battles I would face -
forever running but losing the race, were it not for grace."
Its a beautiful warm and flowing song. -
How about "Grace Greater Than Our Sin"
Marvelous grace of our loving Lord
Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt
Yonder on Calvary's mount outpoured
There where the blood of the Lamb was spilled.
Grace, grace, God's grace!
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within.
Grace, grace, God's grace!
Grace that is greater than all our sin!
Such a beautiful song!
Let us know what you choose.

All of these are wonderful suggestions! Thank you!!
TaterTot, I am not familiar with that song. It sounds beautiful. I will try and find it....is it in your hymn book? -
No, it is sung by Larnelle Harris. You can find it here: http://www.familychristian.com/shop/product.asp?prodID=8678

Thanks Tatertot, I just read the lyrics, and I think this is exactly what I have been looking for!!
-
oh great, pick her song  :D
Seriously, that sounds like a great song. Good luck with it and let us know how it goes! -
because *I* didnt try to hijack her thread
Its a great song and its very meaningful. Especially the line that says
...and when He saw in full just how much His love would cost, He still went the final mile betwenne me and heaven so i would not be lost. "
Gotta love it!!! -
How about "That's When Sin Met Grace"?
Now Playing: Perry Como - "The Golden Voice of Perry Como" -
mike, can you give me an address for this song? I can't find it, but it sounds like it would be great for our retreat.
Cindy -
Cindy, I would send it to you in a file, but I don't have that CD anymore.
It's by the Mid South Boys (later just "Mid South"), and I think it appears on their album "Shoulder to Shoulder".
Sorry, I couldn't find a clip or lyrics on the internet for you, but I did find the soundtrack available here:
http://www.gospel-music-express.com/Keepsakes-M.html
It's under "Sin Met Grace". For $4.95, that's a pretty good deal.
Now Playing: Reno and Smiley - "Just Over in the Gloryland" -
I love "Sin Met Grace". I have had that soundtrack for about 10 years now. And still love to sing it.
It is so true. -
Thanks Mike!!
