"AS THE “first pet” of the Clinton era, Socks, the White House cat, allowed “chilly” Hillary Clinton to show a caring, maternal side as well as bringing joy to her daughter Chelsea. So where is Socks today?
Once the presidency was over, there was no room for Socks any more. After years of loyal service at the White House, the black and white cat was dumped on Betty Currie, Bill Clinton’s personal secretary, who also had an embarrassing clean-up role in the saga of his relationship with the intern Monica Lewinsky."

Even household pets know what the Clintons are really like!

Of all the straws to grasp at. Ever thought that as a Senator commuting between NY and DC, this could be in Sock's interest?

I'm surprised CMG didn't find some way to tie Ron Paul into this incident.

I'm so sick of the Clinton bashing. Being this negative isn't going to accomplish anything.

That's that same way I feel about the Bush bashing.

I think we should stop all "bashing" of politicians in general. We can bash their policies, but the nit-picking on both sides of the aisle is completely frivolous and unproductive.

It's one thing to make a joke or two, but this is outrageous.

How is Socks an orphan? Didn't Socks get a new home?

Yeah, Socks got given a new place but was shunned by the First Lady now that the poor animal was no longer needed for cute pictures. This is one of the saddest stories that I have ever read. :tear:

It's not a sad story.. It's one that is repeated many times during the day/night by many folks.. You seem to want to make a big deal about it because it's Hillary.

Question for you... Do you directly support with time or money your pound? SPCA? Animal Shelter?

I had a cat once, that when I moved I could no longer keep it so I gave it to a nice co-worker.. am I bad? Is there a prayer for this?

Maybe he could find a comforting home at Walter Reed where Bush dumps his photo ops.

Just as a friendly reminder, either both Clinton and Bush deserve to be judged for their actual actions or neither do. So we can both drop the 'bad intentions' lingo if you'd like.
