Home Christmas morning, wife's grandmother's by noon, sister-in-law's that evening. Not to mention getting together with her family Christmas Eve. My folks jump in where ever... we really don't have any traditions, and I am the only child they have left.
This will be our first Christmas without our daughter with us. She has gone the way of the world and turned her back on her parents and church. It's not looking to be a merry Christmas. -
Home,
i was going to San Francisco to preach for my Brother but he canceled the revival. I'm not too mad about it, I really wanted to be home with family... Besides, I want to be here Sunday for the kids program.
My Mom and my group are the only immediate family in town so we will spend Christmas together with a few friends stopping by through out the day. -
On vacation for a week!!!
Leaving Sunday after Sunday morning service, going back home where I was raised, will be staying with my family...
Then coming back next Saturday... by that time the family will be tired of me...and I of them....
My family is celebrating Christmas as if it were this Saturday... -

Trotter, I'm sorry to hear that too. We weep over our children. My prayer is for your peace and that she will mend her relationship with the Lord.
This is a very different Christmas for us. Usually everyone is here, but this year, Joe and his bride will be here for a couple of hours on Christmas Eve. Then Ron and I will drive to my sisters town to take her out for Christmas dinner. She was alone Thanksgiving and I couldn't bear the thought of her being alone Christmas day - she changed industries and only gets THE holiday off. Then we are off to spend a few days with Brandon. Very odd the way it's fallen into place. Ron and I will have some good time together, but every minute with Ron is wonderful time . . . -
ALot of folks will have Christmas like that Trotter, praying for you and her.
Our kids are all grown up and this Christmas they are with the "other" families, so my wife and I are alone and together for Christmas for the first time forever... So we will be home eating what we want for breakfast (waffles, whipped creme and rasberries) eating what we want for lunch (steak) and going to see "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" in the afternoon.
But we'll both still miss the kids (at least that's what we are telling them  -

Interesting, no one has mentioned church.
We will be going to Christmas Eve services -- don't know which one yet, and then off to friend's home for Noche Buena.
We are always home on Christmas day with the ninos -- even though they are older, Santa still stops by. Home on Christmas Day spent with family & friends who will be dropping by and hopefully eating with us. -
I didn't mention church because when Pastor Corts had to step down, we stopped having Christmas Eve services UNLESS Christmas Eve fell on Sunday.
It ain't on Sunday this year. -
Both, I would say.
Depends on how far 'away' is.
Going to my sisters (10 miles) Sun night for present exchange and supper,
then Christmas Day DH and I will have breakfast and presents together at home,
then he and I, and my family, are off to MIL's (5 miles) for dinner at 2pm.
So maybe a little of each?
Merry Christmas, y'all! -
was thinking mainly of Christmas day... but we will do 2 Christmas eve candlelight services.
