We need a smiley with tears. Please do cry us a hand full. They can't even find a stick to go on their witch hunt with because there isn't a stick. All the charges of "Bush lied" etc. are fabricated fantasies and cannot be substantiated and never will be.

It only takes a majority, and the Dems have it. But they know they have nothing. The question is, Why don't you?

The Republicans don't even stand with Bush half the time and rightly so.

Prosecuting lame duck presidents is a waste of time. Even if there were anything there.

Revenge my friend. They want revenge. They have been so mad and depressed since the election of 2000 they want some good old fashioned hate filled revenge.

Executive Privilege is politics not the constitution

The Constitution nowhere expressly mentions executive privilege. Presidents have long claimed, however, that the constitutional principle of separation of powers implies that the Executive Branch has a privilege to resist certain encroachments by Congress and the judiciary, including some requests for information.

Although claims of executive privilege have been made since the administration of George Washington, the law remains remarkably unclear, partly because the relevant actors have usually tried to avoid a direct confrontation if possible. Thus, who prevails in the current controversy may turn out to be less a matter of what the law is, than of who blinks first: Congress (acting through Comptroller General Walker), the Administration, or the courts.

It's not that Congress doesn't have the guts. House democrats have more than enough hate and votes to impeach.

What they don't have is a case. They know it.

Hardly a waste, even if done after he leaves office. If a crime is committed, justice must be served. You don't let a bank robber not serve time just because he no longer robs banks.

Well as Dem. House Judiciary Chairman John Conyers was overheard to say recently,"We’re closing in on Rove. Someone’s got to kick his a**."

That pretty much tells you what they're up to.
