carpo I have to agree with you that some form of default, bankruptcy, or what ever it ends up being called will take place. It matters not what it will be called as the result will be the same in the end. We the American people will lose just about everything we have including most if not all of our freedoms. The streets will be filled with the poor and dying, as the country becomes like a third world cesspool of misery.

Because saving the UAW as you put it only hurt us in part and even then it cost us all in some sort although it did not bring total destruction to the system. To stiff everyone to save the nation destroys the nation as we know it.

Most of the other bondholders are those hated cretins, bankers and wall streeters. Who cares about them? After campaign money is collected, liberals certainly won't.

Besides, everyone won't be stiffed. We prioritize. In Obama's world, that means Unions get paid first, bankers and China last.

Funny, after 9-11, people were calling them "stone age" or "medieval", now as we fall, it seems they're going strong. I was wondering if this might have been one of the places where all the money is going.
