Simple, straight forward question...with Obamacare just months from coming reality, how has it impacted you, your business, employer, your insurance?

It hasn't, really. I don't have employees in my business, except myself, and I'm covered by my wife's policy from a major Kansas City healthcare center where she works as a NICU nurse. The policy hasn't changed, so far. That doesn't mean it won't in the future.

I have several friends who, like me, haven't even tried to go on the website, and even though some of them are going to need healthcare insurance next year, they refuse to participate in such a corrupt and likely illegal program. They'll pay the penalty and establish healthcare savings accounts. Most of them already have them. My wife and I do, even though we have really good medical, dental and vision coverage.

Our friends and we just have to hope we can continue to afford our doctor visits, and that our doctors will still have a business to patronize.

While my premiums tend to go up every year, I have insurance through my employer.
