Here in the northern part of Wisconsin, we saw 101f yesterday and 102f this afternoon. It's not uncommon to go all summer and not see 90f, and it's been a few years since we've touched 100f.
It's too hot.:tongue3:
In Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, high temperatures exceeded 100 °F (38 °C) a total of 69 times, including a record 42 consecutive days from June 23 to August 3. Dallas/Fort Worth reached an all-time high when the temperature hit 113 °F (45 °C) on three consecutive days on June 26–28. Here is West Kentucky, it was 109 last week, and 106 yesterday. These kind of numbers are unheard of. The humidity has been around 20%, which is also rare for here.Yesterday the temp readings out here were 118*F, with a heat index of 143*F.

My son lives in Madison WS because he got a job with EPIC after college. Anyway, he said there have been many days there of over 100. We visit him and his wife all times of the year except the December-February time frame. Once, we went up there Thanksgiving and it was already snowing the three below. Madison is about 8 hours north of us in West KY.
We're a few hours NE of Madison.
That kind of heat is oppressive. One can only get so acclimated.
Are you up by Spooner, Wisc?
East of there. Close enough for a day trip to Minocqua. Or Marquette, MI. Or Door County. Or Green Bay. Or Escanaba, MI. Or Madison.
Specific enough?
