I was reading this quote made by Tucker Bounds, a McCain spokesman. I believe he asked a very good question that I would like to explore. How well do you know the people you deal with on a daily basis? You don't introduce yourself then ask, "are you a terrorist? I can't deal with you if you are a terrorist or convicted felon."
Ayers served on a board with Obama and his illegal activities were long before Obama met him. Does anyone know if Obama picked him for this board? Did he interview him or was he just another board member? Shouldn't the question be about their relationship after Obama learned of their previous activities?
Here what made me think this way, I have a member who caught his wife and lover together and killed them both. He basically got off with temporary insanity coupled with a history of bi-polar/schizophrenia. He did these crimes 20 or 30 years ago while he lived in Arkansas.
The guy is at the Church every time the doors open and has been a great asset to me and most of the efforts the Church puts forward. It is obvious he has some mental problems but no one knows about his past but me (I believe). I had told one of the deacons but that deacon has since passed. I only know because he confessed this to me while inquiring if the Lord can forgive him because he is not sorry for what he did.
I feel I am right for not saying anything even though someone in the Church might later be associated with a murderer. What are your thoughts?

Anyone who wants to lead my country will run away from people like this. They will denounce his actions, and make sure the paths never cross.
And you can't compare the two personalities. Your parishioner is not a part of a seditious movement.
And I'm way over my head in giving you advice on how to run your church. But on a personal level, I hope you never have to explain why you decided to keep that info secret. -
Did you vote for GW Bush twice. I rest my case. -
However, when you say run away from people like this, that implies after he learns this about them. Right? I mean who says he knew these things about Ayres at the time they were on the board together? -

You are not going to get me to believe Obama had no clue who this guy was. -

They don't necessarily want you to believe they just want to believe to keep their heart peaceful in their ungodly support of this ungodly man. -
I still ask the question, how well do we know the people we speak to daily? How well do you know all the parents of the kids your children's classes? How well do you really know your neighbors past? -

If I ever get involved in as many people as Obama has with these character issues unknowingly I would need to reassess my judgment capabilities. Trouble is I don;t think Obama is that stupid.
