I hate the term humankind. It's an ugly-sounding word. UGH. The words humanity or people are better.
So how many times do various translations use the word humankind?
The winner is the LEB, which employs the word 123 times.
NRSV : 44
NET : 33
NABRE : 17
CEB : 11
NCB : 6
CSB : 1
The NIV, NLT, LSB, NASB, EHV, ISV and others don't use it at all.
Are there any words appearing in some Bible versions that you would prefer not using?
