Irma made landfall in Naples, the eye is currently there. After the water on the coasts went out to sea they are now surging back in with a vengeance. Here in the Orlando area we are getting sideways rain off and on. Irma should be here some time in the night. I have not heard of much damage other than a mobile home park in the titusville area.

We are hunkered down at the church with several members. This morning the Sherriff's Dept. brought a homeless woman who they found that didn't even know there was a hurricane coming. We were glad we were here to receive her.

Praying for all you guys.
We Brits are always complaining about the weather, but we never get anything like you're getting.
Be wise and stay safe. May these disasters cause people to call on the name of the Lord. -
Getting hammered right now near Lakeland. My power is out and a neighbors Live Oak tree snapped and is blocking the road. Power lines are also down with sparks lighting up the area. I reported it to TECO (power company). The worst of the storm should be here after midnight.

Water infiltrated our house. Carpet soaked. Water pouring in from two windows. Not good. The eye of Irma will be right over us in about an hour. If a window goes we're going to have to go our safe room which is our master bathroom and walk-in closet.

I'm sure the power is off but maybe turn off your main braker... water and electricity not a good combo.

I received no damage to my house. We still have no power. We gained power today at the church. Now for the cleanup.

Of the 86 homes in our subdivision, 35 had moderate to severe damage. The eye of Irma went right over us here in Auburndale. Praise God no one was hurt. Lots of repairs to be done.
