Greetings,

You were originally referring to Gen 3, and that is why I gave the answer I did, according to Gen 3.

I do not like to play mind games.

Thank you.
Lord bless you.
Cal, the whole of scripture helps us understand Genesis 3. Romans 5 is one of those passages that help us understand the curse in Genesis 3.
So, no mind games, unless connecting the whole of scripture is considered a mind game.

What good does understanding of the scripture do for us? Do we creatures accept our lot in life… do we plead for mercy, do we rebel? It is my view that you can’t argue with it so why even concern yourself with it. The old saying that “it is what it is” is appropriate here. Who can understand the mind of God?

Now would I go to a church that has a woman pastor… absolutely not. Would my wife go to listen to a woman preacher, yea she would…. So do allot of people and no amount of scripture will convince them otherwise. So what… sin rules the world and I’m a sinner and only his grace can divert me from sinning. The decay of American (& the worlds) character is firmly on the slide so scripture advises Jesus return as the solution… so thank him for His saving Grace or I’d be swimming in that lake of fire along with the rest of them.

Elders, correct.
Pastors, this will depend on whether a pastor is an elder. Certainly an elder is a pastor and thus a man.
However, your question is a strawman as it has nothing to do with the Bible text of this thread. What does the text, here in 1 Timothy, tell us?
Are you saying that God calls and has ordained women pastors in local churches?

And they are both of them naked, the man and his wife, and they are not ashamed of themselves. Gen 2:25
for Adam was first formed, then Eve, and Adam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, into transgression came, 1 Tim 2:13,14

For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 1 Cor 11:8,9

And the woman seeth that the tree is good for food, and that it is pleasant to the eyes, and the tree is desirable to make one wise, and she taketh of its fruit and eateth, and giveth also to her husband with her, and he doth eat; and the eyes of them both are opened, and they know that they are naked, and they sew fig-leaves, and make to themselves girdles. Gen 3:6,7

And he answering said to them, 'Did ye not read, that He who made them, from the beginning a male and a female made them, and said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall be -- the two -- for one flesh? so that they are no more two, but one flesh; what therefore God did join together, let no man put asunder.'
'And I say to you, that, whoever may put away his wife, if not for whoredom, and may marry another, doth commit adultery; and he who did marry her that hath been put away, doth commit adultery.' Matt 19:4-6,9
So -- the way of an adulterous woman, She hath eaten and hath wiped her mouth, And hath said, 'I have not done iniquity.' Prov 30:20

What should Adam, the man, have done about Eve, the woman?

Stone her?

Or was it just part of the plan?

1 Tim 2:15 and she shall be saved through the child-bearing, if they remain in faith, and love, and sanctification, with sobriety.
Gen 3:14,15 And Jehovah God saith unto the serpent, 'Because thou hast done this, cursed art thou above all the cattle, and above every beast of the field: on thy belly dost thou go, and dust thou dost eat, all days of thy life; and enmity I put between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he doth bruise thee -- the head, and thou dost bruise him -- the heel.'

What plan?

he who is doing the sin, of the devil he is, because from the beginning the devil doth sin; for this was the Son of God manifested, that he may break up the works of the devil; 1 John 3:8
Seeing, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, he himself also in like manner did take part of the same, that through death he might destroy him having the power of death -- that is, the devil -- Heb 2:14

and when the fulness of time did come, God sent forth His Son, come of a woman, come under law, that those under law he may redeem, that the adoption of sons we may receive; Gal 4:4,5
and if on the Father ye do call, who without acceptance of persons is judging according to the work of each, in fear the time of your sojourn pass ye, having known that, not with corruptible things -- silver or gold -- were ye redeemed from your foolish behaviour delivered by fathers, (?ADAM?) but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and unspotted -- Christ's -- foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, and manifested in the last times because of you, who through him do believe in God, who did raise out of the dead, and glory to him did give, so that your faith and hope may be in God. 1 Peter 1:17-21
