Muffin begs like that, but I can't seem to get a picture of that. I can only get pictures of him when he doesn't know I'm taking his picture.

Blessed, check out petfinder.com. They have listings for animals from all over the country. We got our last two girls from a rescue listed on petfinder.
If you'll tell me if Land of Lincoln means Illinois or Nebraska I'll go help you look. I should warn you though, petfinder can become an addiction, there are sooo many lovely animals out there and you can't adopt them all. -
Hi MK! I am from Lincoln, Illinois.
I looked at some rescue shelters on the Internet, but they were all so expensive. 'Lady' was a mixed breed (Sheltie and German Shepherd).
You can go to the first post in this thread and see what I would like to have this time. Actually, I will love whatever I get! Thanks for the help!

Haven't found one yet Sue? Been to your local pound?
Sometimes just the right one comes to you, instead of you to it.
I think it's something God does. -
Hi Donna!
Right after I started this thread, we had those awful winter storms with lots of snow, -0 temps, and howling wind. I didn't think that would be a good time to get a puppy and try to housebreak her (for either one of us).
The weather is letting up now, so I will be going to the pound soon. The only trouble with that is I usually want to bring home 3-4 of them!
Usually, in the Spring, there are puppies for FREE in the paper too. So, I will wait for a week or two and see what happens. I will definitely have an addition to the family before summer! -

Thank you so much! I checked out all the links but came back to the very first one. I have already sent an inquiry about her.

She is beautiful. She was my favorite too. I hope it works out for you. If you don't hear back from them within a couple of days, see if you can find a phone number and call. Sometimes shelter workers are very busy and don't check their e'mail regularly.
