If a person is not one of those whom God elected to salvation, would that person be correct to blame God for his lost state, as some seem to hint at here on the BB!But of course it's possible that your question was deeper than a confusion over the 2 typos in "ihint athere". :laugh:

No. Man is in a lost state because he is a sinner. God not electing to save him doesn't change that. We don't deserve salvation nor the chance to be saved. -
"ihint athere" reminds me of my old 77 Chevy p/u with the 250 straight 6 that would try to keep running ("dieseling") and the sound it made while it was doing it.

God chooses, not man. So no, He is not wrong in doing so, and no man deserves mercy in the first place.
