Abraham and Isaac... because it points to calvary
But I would also love to see Elijah mocking the prophets of Baal...
I love that! -
Since I'm into action movies, I think Samson killing a grand of Phillistines would be pretty cool! It would be like watching Neo battling all of those agents from Matrix 2.
To go along with what Tim said, the suspense witnessing Abraham and Isaac would be crazy! Talk about drama. I would love to see the expressions on both of their faces as Isaac is placed on the altar. Since I dont' believe Isaac was a little kid (prabably a young man), the willing participation for both Abraham and Isaac would be very powerful to witness.
Since I believe God to be omnitemporal, and there will be no more time someday, when I get to Heaven I'm hoping that we will be able to witness all of these things and more! -
David and Goliath, I love to see the "little" guy win!!!!
leenies :flower: -
Elijah on Mt. Carmel because that is simply one of my favorite passages...and i get a kick out of Elijah mocking the prophets of Baal too!
-
David and Goliath, but Elijah is a close 2nd. I want to hear David ask, "who is this uncircumcised Philistine to defy the armies of the living God?"
-
Hard to choose. I guess either David & Goliath or Elijah mocking the false prophets. My wife says the talking donkey is really no big deal. Says that she sees that all the time. I wonder what she means by that...
-
Not on the list... the women at the tomb when the angel tells them Jesus is gone. Can you imagine their faces?

I definitely had to vote for the men in the firey furnance. Actually what I would like to witness is the fourth man in the fire.
My second choice was Balaam's ass. I initially thought it would be such a curious sight to see a talking ass, but.....
.....I shall not finish that statement for fear of being in the same company of those that I was about to implicate!
:type: -
I’m into the action also, that Samson musta been one BAD dude!
Maybe, and the “more” must be such an unimaginable wonderful thing.
That would be something to get the wheels turning! Another thing I almost put on the list as a joke was “Bathsheba from the roof” but a feared a backlash from some that may not get that it was done in humor. Honestly though, I am a little curious as to what it was that caused David to stumble so hard. -
I can see him dating a cheerleader -
I was kinda hoping to see Balaam and his pack animal on the list.
You see, that would remind me of the BB...seeing a talking...
whoops! Nevermind. You never saw this post, mods... -
I chose Abraham and Isaac. My question for the OP. Do we know the events as they are given in Scripture at the same time we are witnessing said event or not? that puts a spin on it in my view.
Anyhow; the reason I chose Abraham and Isaac is because it would have been a knee bending thing to hear God's voice.
Read Genesis 22 again. It is literally the voice of God which Abraham hears on those two days. -

Neat poll. I play a similar game around the dinner table sometimes.
I chose Shadrach et.al. in the furnace because, to an observer, it is so clearly miraculous, and because you would literally see Jesus in the flames with the trio. I'd have to ask the boys "What did Jesus say when you were walking around in there?"
Many of the other events -- I wonder if the miracle would be so obvious. Would an observer hear God speak to Abraham? Or the donkey speak to Balaam? Could skeptics explain away the superhuman Samson as a fluke? David got lucky?
OK -- they'd all be cool. But my vote is Shadrach, Meshach, and "To-bed-we-go". (A popular bedtime story when my kids were kids.) -
What I would really like to see is the creation, although that took 6 days rather than an hour.
-
The men in the fire because of the obvious miraculous character of the event.
-
I have a hard time choosing one, because it took more than an hour for the persons to get to the place they were where these events took place.
