Have you read John 3:13?
Do you understand that while Christ was on the cross he was also at the same time in heaven in his divine nature which is omnipresent?
I asked for scripture please not unsubstantiated philosophical opinions
ALL of the fulness of God the Son was incarnated as jesus, and when Hedied on the Cross, His died a physical death, while His spirit/soul went into Abraham bosem, in order to proclaim His victory and set the captives there free to ascend with him from there into heaven!
John 3:13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
When he was on earth speaking to Nicodemus he claimed he was also at that very moment in heaven "IS in heaven" not "was" or "shall be."
Hence, when he promised the Theif that this very day the theif would be with him in paradise (not hades; 2 Cor. 12:1-3; Rev. 22:1-2) or heaven he as already in heaven as much when he said that to the Thief as he was when said what he said to Nicodemus.
You have not quoted any scripture to suppor this idea because you fully well know that there is no scripture that states what you are saying.
The scriptures you allude to say no such thing but you READ INTO those texts this theory and that is why you refuse to quote those texts.
What you READ INTO those texts is simply wrong!
when the Logos/Son/Word was here upon the earth, God the father was still in heaven, as he was still in command, and that was the ONE that spoke that jesus was his beloved Son, and to heed Him!
Incarnation meant ALL of the second person of the truine god became human flesh to dwell among us!
Are you not forgetting something?
As God he is still omnipresent and you cannot contain omnipresence to flesh because it then ceases to be omnipresence and then you are denying his deity!
No!
What he limited was his MANIFEST glory as being God.
It is impossible for God to change what is immutable to his Nature and yet remain God.
For example God cannot lie - that is impossible in or out of the flesh. God can conceal omnipotence but cannot change it.
He can conceal omnipresence but cannot change it. Because God is immutable in regard to what makes God to be God.
