    Things change. CP giving can now be designated to the missionary/program of the church's choice. Problem solved.

    So is DocCas saying that ALL mission boards are anti-biblical?

    Also, a SBC church is NOT required to support the Cooperative pgm.
    Also many SBC churches support non-SBC Independent missionaries.

    Getting back to your opening post, Frank, which I may have deflected away from with my statement: why don't you tell us what you mean by independent and just what kind of churches are you interested in how they view divorce and ordination?

    I have think my definition to independent is this Baptist that call themselves that cause their independent to associations and conventions but I really wanted to know what the fundmential Baptist believed on the divorced preacher or the man that got divorced and married again but I am a United Baptist Minister and some of them have associations and some dont

    Then you also need to define Fundamental Baptist.
    I am SBC - and a Fundamentalist.

    With that said, A good number of IFB would say one divorce - (by either the man or his current wife) and he cannot be a pastor. Yet, there are IFB that will permit a divorced man to be a pastor. As I said before - its up to the individual local church.

    Frank, with the wide diversity of belief and practice on the matter -- even among "Independent Fundamental Baptist" -- the best thing is probably just to inquire of specific churches that you know
